It begins with fragments of memories and sentences that repeat themselves. Accompanying this, the shimmering tones, noise interference, and looped speech fragments escalate into an acoustic imposition and flood. What actually happens when someone is struck on the head? What does a bursting head sound like? What becomes tangible is what is so destructively present for those under attack, yet remains completely invisible to everyone around them.

DRINK SOME WATER is an auditory, personal exploration of the topic of migraine and pain. An intense sound performance about body, violence, and limits.

Content Notes: Sensory overload | high frequencies
